Bangalore floored by DJ Suketu at Naach Nite
Friday nights are always special and in Bangalore, people know how to party, party hard. Past Friday, more than 3000 people were gathered under one roof for two reasons – dance and DJ Suketu.
DJ Suketu needs no introduction as he is one of the best and highest selling DJ's in India who is known to have dominated the dance floors by his mystic numbers. DJ Suketu was here in town with his iconic powerhouse of dance numbers and Bangalore was ready to get the dose by DJ Suketu’s best remixes, and make this event, biggest dance party of the city ever.
NaachNites, the biggest Bollywood dance party was organized in association with 94.3 Radio One at Manphao Convention Centre on 5th September 2014 (Friday).
Before DJ Suketu arrived to rule the hearts of Bangalore, it was DJ Jasmeet, MJ Prithvi, MJ Pijosh and MJ Rakesh who kept the crowd on their feet with some electrifying peppy numbers.
Most of the artists have a soft corner for Bangalore for one reason – they embrace you with pure love and this is the reason why DJ Suketu loves coming to Bangalore. I had an opportunity to interact and ask few questions to the master DJ just before his appearance. Below is the Exclusive Interaction with DJ Suketu:
How do feel coming back to Bangalore?
DJ Suketu: Bangalore has always been fantastic; I come here almost once in three months. The energy and enthusiasm of Bangalore is just superb.
How do you create a unique piece of music every time?
DJ Suketu: My forte is remix and no matter what number I am playing, I always add a mix of my own giving it a fresh feel.
How does this talent of being a DJ help to express yourself?
DJ Suketu: One thing I really like is to be in front of people and pour my heart out through music. For me, the biggest happiness is to see people enjoy and dance on my remixes.
How is expressing yourself an important part of your life?
DJ Suketu: I think it is very very important. Because I like Bollywood music, I can play Bollywood music really well. So, I express myself through the music. I don’t want be one of those people who say I don’t like Bollywood music and keep getting into something else. I love, enjoy and play Bollywood music.
How did you discover that this what you wanted to do?
DJ Suketu: Eventually I was a table player. I had learned playing table for four years. After that I got into college and one thing led to another and started being a DJ for the college parties and that’s it, then never looked back.

DJ Suketu: It is very difficult to answer that. I love all my remixes.
Which is one track that has to be played in any event?
DJ Suketu: It has to be ‘Bin Tere Sanam’. Even if I don’t play there will be requests from crowd for this song.
After the interaction, DJ Suketu made an appearance, taking control over the hanging DJ console suspended from the ceiling and what an awesome response it was from the crowd. DJ Suketu had the three thousand people dancing non-stop by spinning tracks from Helen through to Katrina. The foot tapping remixes traced the history of Bollywood music from iconic item numbers to sultry love songs of Shammi Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan tunes.
