Anand Mohammad Kennedy Signature After Match Party @ ITC Maurya on 19th April
The Kamal Mahal of ITC Maurya was set abuzz by the Signature After Match Party. The evening was calm like a sea, but at nightfall the venue was on fire, not literally though! Every moment was enthralling at the party.
The Deccan Chargers started pouring in after having a great field day and it showed in their off-field performance as well. The hosts started the evening with the Delhi Daredevils cheer girls grooving to the Flo Rida number. Here I must say that the club was having a hard time to handle their hotness and moves.
Coming to the main event of the Signature After Match Party, the ramp was simply great with top fashion models wearing the designs of Zuber Kirmani, the Fashion Designer of the evening. The models, with their grace and charm, won the applauses from the people at the party and the players as well. It was elegance at freewill.
JP Duminy was his calm self. When I asked him about his favorite football club, he named the Old Trafford Giant Manchester United. But he quipped saying by the current given form of Barcelona and Messi, chances are grim of MAN U winning the title. I smiled.
Ironically, Pragyan Ojha was caught on the wrong foot when asked to comment about the effervescent 'Sheila ki Jawani' by the anchor of the night. His sheepish grin said it all.
Come to the Dj night and Clement rocked the house in style. The Dj got us falling in love again, and the Signature After Match Party was on! The chargers were daring the devils. The devils were dancing to the beat. Morne morkel was not missing any move here. Then enters the Shikhar Dawan. The home boy made the house go gaga. He was witty, cool and himself. The spirits from Signature were flowing in the veins now. The heart was pumping to every beat and body was swaying to every groove. Kumar Sangakkara was wearing his zen like calm. He had smiles and courtesy adding to his pristine class. He was my Signature man of the match, errr party. But hey, David Warner was not letting himself to miss out on any fun. He continued his good form from the field to the dance floor. And, buoy o buoy, that man can shake a leg!!!
Apart from players, the Delhi Daredevils support staff and Reddys' were omnipresent at the party. The Delhi crowd was sizzling due to the presence of several hotties.
But can a DJ night be complete without a Punjabi number in Delhi? The song was an apt message from Delhi people and Signature - kaddi saddi galli bhull ke bhi aaya karo (forget yourself, cometh to my street). I am sad Shakespeare is not alive. He would have loved the Signature After Match Party!
