Mumbai Nightlife

Over the years, Mumbai has gained the reputation as the city that never sleeps. The capital of Maharashtra and home to our film industry, Mumbai is where you can enjoy the city-life, even after midnight. Be it filling your stomach with delicious street food, taking a walk on a beach or indulging in some off-beat activities, people of Mumbai can do all that and more even after midnight. Here is a small guide on how you can celebrate Mumbai's nightlife.

Hangout With Your Friends

Marine Drive

Marine Drive

The perfect place to enjoy Mumbai's city-lights, Marine Drive is a stretch that covers Nariman point and Gateway of India. The stretch is perfect for long walks at night with your friends or a quick snack at any stall in that area. You can also go for night runs with your buds and sweat it out. The area is most popular during the monsoons, especially during high-tide.

Juhu Chowpatty

A spot you can visit with your friends or family at night, Juhu Chowpatty offers you a chance to enjoy the beach at night and pamper your taste buds with some of the best street food in the city.

Carter Road

Another hangout area you can hit at night with your friends is Carter Road. The track is visited by many fitness enthusiasts at night for runs and cycling enthusiasts across the city.

Food

Bademiya

This iconic eatery is loved by foodies all over India and is always crowded, even after midnight. One must try their rolls and kebabs to understand why so many people from different pockets of the city visit this place. The food stall stays open till 3 AM.

Ayaz's The Kebab Place

Just a couple of kilometers away from Juhu beach, Ayaz's kebabs is the best place for kebabs you can relish after midnight in Mumbai. Enjoy a walk on the beach and then rush to this famous food stall to pamper your taste buds with freshly made smoking hot kebabs.

Ayub's

Another famous food-joint in Mumbai that offers sumptuous snacks after midnight. Unlike the other two places, Ayub's is not a food-stall, yet it offers the same quality of street food one would expect from a good eatery in Mumbai.

Nightclubs of Mumbai

AER - Four Seasons

A luxury, open air, roof-top lounge in Four Seasons Hotel, AER offers delicious drinks, a tapas bar, DJ music and breath-taking views of the city. Even though evening is the best time to visit this club to enjoy the sunset, you can easily enter AER after work hours and party till midnight.

Hype

Celebrity DJ Aqeel Ali's club, Hype is the place to be if you wish to party with some Bollywood stars. One of the first luxury and exclusive nightclubs in the city, Hype is another place that defines the nightlife in Mumbai.

Tryst

If you are looking for an after-hours party where you can let your hair down and dance all your worries away, then head over to Tryst. The club opens its doors after 10 PM and parties on till 1:30 AM.

Activities

Midnight Cycling

If you have a busy schedule and don't find time to indulge in some fitness activities during the day, then try Mumbai's midnight cycling. Several routes have been used by cycling enthusiasts over the years, especially during midnight.

Late night cruise in the Arabian Sea

The perfect activity for couples looking for a romantic way to celebrate the nights in Mumbai, enjoying a luxurious cruise in the Arabian Sea is something you can enjoy both during the day and night.

Late Night Drives

Mumbai's roads maybe filled with traffic during the day, but at night, the roads offer a clear path for people who are looking for a casual drive within the city, or a getaway to a nearby hill station. Popular areas to enjoy a late night drive are Carter road, the famous Palm Beach road and the Mumbai-Pune expressway, which can be used if you feel like visiting Khandala or Lonavala.
