EDM At Its Best
India’s premier Electronic Music Festival started in 2007 in Goa. Organized by Nikhil Chinapa and sponsored by Smirnoff, it took place in December at Candolim Beach. With artists like Above & Beyond, Carl Cox and Axwell performing, it became an instant success. In 2009, it was ranked as one of the top 10 music festivals around the world. After a decade of partying in Goa, the festival shifted base to Pune and has been a NYE destination ever since.
Sights And Stages
Sponsored by Captain Morgan Cola with a theme of ‘Welcome To Paradise’, Sunburn this year is all sorts of amazing. The arena has a variety of stages scattered around and each of them is intricately decorated and lit up. And don’t worry if you don’t find a spot near the stage. The upscale projections and state of the art pyrotechnics have got your back!
An Artist Galore
Sunburn features a line-up which is a fabulous mix of universal favourites along with up and coming artists. While the big name headliners draw in most of the crowd, Sunburn gives music lovers a chance to explore many new artists, all of whom are set to become the next big thing in EDM.
Some of the big names performing this year are DJ Snake, Nucleya, Alan Walker, Krewella, Axwell & Ingrosso and Armin Van Buuren. Also, try not to miss out on newer talent like Divine and Louisahhh.
The Pulsating Vibe
With over 3,00,000 expected attendees this year, the festival promises to be even bigger and better. While the festival is known to celebrate music, it also offers delicious food and drinks. A carnival of various cultures bonding over music; Sunburn will leave you spellbound. And who wouldn’t want to end the year while grooving to some Trance, House, or Techno?
