We’re big believers in the luxe life, yet we’re not sure what to make of this splurge story. Instead of checking into a hotel while on tour in Scotland recently, Justin Bieber spent thousands of pounds on a private home overlooking Loch Leven, set across a staggering 100 acres. So far, it all makes perfect sense. With a £650-a-day butler on hand to cater to his every whim and fancy and free access to a spectacular whisky library on the 17th-century country estate, you could even say this was money well spent. Having packed skateboards and tennis rackets to carry to Scotland (in addition to an extensive wardrobe for his run of shows at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro), it would seem Bieber was gearing up to entertain himself and his buddies between gigs. Yet, in an interview with The Scottish Sun, Justin stated: “I’ve spent a lot of money to stay here (at Kinross House for the weekend). I just want to enjoy the solitude for a while.” So here we are, wondering why the Bieb opted for a fully staffed 14-bedroom mansion, with a dining room that seats 32 guests, when he’s looking for some “solitude”?! Perhaps a tipple at the property’s whisky library would help us understand this contradiction in terms, while Justin enjoys his R&R surrounded by an army of attendants!
