Bangalore-based folk rock outfit Lagori is a band that most folks relate to and enjoy – seamless vocal parts paired with groovy bass lines, fleshy guitar bits and thought-out drum lines – there is nothing not to like, really. Get yourself to one of their concerts and we guarantee you will go home with a happy heart with ringing ears.

They are tough, hardworking musicians with compassion for things they get in touch with. Maybe this is why they have climbed the indie music ladder effortlessly. And with a popular self-titled album under their name, shows that would require your hands and feet to count, and collaborations on shows like The Dewarists they are without doubt one of the most popular live acts in the country without a doubt.

Instant Karma

Instant Karma is a collaboration between musicians Ehsaan Noorani, Loy Mendonsa and Farhad Wadia. The group’s USP is that they take timeless Bollywood songs and interpret the way they see fit. According to them, they work on versions, not remixes. Instant Karma was formed after Bally Sagoo released his version of Bollywood Flashback in the 90s. This is when Ehsaan and Loy thought of starting a group along similar lines. Soon, they were up with their version of the classic Dil Kya Kare. Which Sony Music marketed, soon after and was a big hit.

Under Instant Karma the group collaborated with other talented musicians like Shankar Mahadevan, Shaan, Mahalaxmi Iyer.

The first two albums in the Dance Masti collection sold about 700,000 (700,000) copies.
