Bartenders like a good banter by the bar. But how much is too much? Your bartender might be too kind to tell you when you’re being ridiculous, but sometimes you just are. No offence!
So, we’ll go ahead and help you know when to stop and what not to say.
The next time you feel like striking a conversation with a bartender, make sure these annoying things aren’t part of the discussion. Because, this is what your bartender doesn’t want to hear.
“Can you make my drink extra strong?”
If you’re ordering a single measure of Johnnie Walker Black Label, the bartender can only give you 30ml. How about you ask for a double if you want something stronger?
“I don’t like the taste of alcohol. I’m allergic to beer. I’m not fond of wine. What else can you suggest I drink?”
For people who don’t like their alcohols neat, cocktails are a good option. Pick a cocktail from the menu beforehand, because that’s what the bartender will suggest anyway.
