Gumani X Something Sketchy - talk + draw at #ChurchStreetSocial
Bring your favourite sketchbook and art supplies and join artists Pia Meenakshi of Studio Gumani and Madhuvanthi Mohan of Something Sketchy for a fun creative talk and mini workshop at the Church Street Social where they will talk about their lives as illustrators, their travels and experiences meeting different artists, tips for being productive and about experimenting with new media.

Madhuvanthi Mohan is an illustrator and runs her own company called Something Sketchy, where she puts her quirky and colourful illustrations on products like notebooks and coaster-magnets for retail. She is currently present in 15 stores across 9 cities in India through Landmark, and 4 stores in NYC where she spent last summer doing a few courses at the School of Visual Arts.
She also enjoys painting murals and recently painted a 30ft x 19ft mural for St+art India street art festival in Malviyanagar, New Delhi.
She loves meeting and interacting with different artists and runs an illustrators' group based out of Bombay called The Sketchup, which is meant for inspiration, connection and collaboration.
