The Newly Opened Rivers To Oceans Is Where You Need To Head To, To Satiate All Your Seafood Cravings
There are plenty of fancy seafood joints in Mumbai; however only a few excel in serving seafood delicacies from across the globe. However, Rivers to Oceans(R2O), the latest culinary outpost at High Street Phoenix, Lower Parel, Mumbai, is finally here to satiate your all your seafood cravings.
A brainchild of Dildeep Kalra, wife of the restaurateur Zorawar Kalra, who has launched some of India’s best-known concept restaurants, Rivers to Oceans(R2O) introduces global and luxury seafood dining to Mumbai.
Speaking about the need for a fancy seafood dining place in Mumbai, Zorawar Karla said, “Every metropolitan city in the country has a premium seafood restaurant. We felt it was missing in a city like Mumbai, which has a crazy seafood fan following.” The couple took about a year and a half to conceptualize R2O, and about another seven months to bring it to life.
Boasting of an elaborate menu which not only has local delicacies but also global seafood specialities like the famous tuna from the South of Australia, Japan’s hamachi and black cod from the Gulf of Alaska, Rivers To Oceans is a Mecca for seafood fanatics in Mumbai. R2O also features India’s first champagne and caviar bar.
The restaurant offers a delectable variety from all around the globe and also focuses on local produce. While the local produce is sourced from the authentic local fishermen, Dildeep Karla and Zorawar Kalra have travelled the world to find the ingredients for the other food on their menu. The ingredients for the recipes are imported from the world over.
The fine dine restaurant, with a pleasant aquatic ambience also offers two private dining rooms for those seeking a quiet meal with family and friends or wanting to celebrate a special occasion.
Thanks to this latest concept restaurant, the city’s seafood lovers no longer need to travel the world for lavish servings from the finest catch. So, step in and embark upon a delicious voyage from around the globe. Seafood surely never tasted better before.
