Hyderabad is a Mughlai lover’s haven and has no dearth of culinary offerings. But for those in quest for the best Mughlai in town can end their search at Eat India Company, the restaurant with the unusually catchy name and the perfectly prepared fare.

Strategically located at Jubilee Hills, a revered neighbourhood, Eat India Company is renowned for importing all its spices from the North so as to give an authentic flavour to their preparations. Its arresting décor, comprising steel doors for a grand welcome, will mesmerize you and so will the ancient “kadhai” that hangs from the ceiling. The unfinished concrete walls, dim lighting and the antiques strewn around the space have a charm of their own.

Then there’s the delightful menu that will have you spoilt for choice. Here’s taking a look at what’s in store.

Their tawa section comprises some melt-in-mouth and succulent mince tikkis, giloutis and a whole lot more, but we suggest you opt for their Lahsooni Macchi, Jhinga Kashmiri, Malai Jhinga or the Banjara Mutton as starters. The mains include interesting options such as Murgh Lababdar, Makhini Chooza, Methi Chicken, Murgh Kaali Mirch, Jhinga Kaali Mirch, Nalli Ki Nihari, Rartha Gosht and the Mutton Bhuna Pudina. You can pair any of these lip-smacking gravies with their Laccha Paratha or the Mint/Pudina ka Paratha.

Their bar menu doesn’t disappoint either. The cocktails comprise regulars such as the Bloody Mary, Mojito, Pina Colada and the like, but we suggest the Nagula Special for an evening to remember.

Those looking for an experiential affair must head to Hyderabad’s Eat India Company for its alluring ambience and flavourful Mughlai delicacies.
