Bengaluru has no dearth of culinary offerings. This lively city offers you a plethora of options to experience some genuine flavours coupled with the greatest ambience. And Cafe Toscano is one such space that brings traditional Italian cuisine to India, offering patrons some authentic and flavourful pizzas, pastas, sea food, salad, and poultry preparations among other things.

Wondering what’s in store for you at Cafe Toscano? Here’s what to expect.

Nestled on two floors, the lower one is for buffet lovers, while the upper one is dedicated to those who have a penchant for a la carte. Upon entry (if you choose the floor above), you can marvel at the setting which is filled with trivia and quotes here and there in chalk, which makes for an interesting read, and a full-fledged bar setup. If you’re done and dusted with the grungy vibes most pubs offer, then Cafe Toscano will seem like a breath of fresh air with its open, sunshine-y feel.

When it comes to food, Cafe Toscano is pure perfection. And it also gets brownie points for its reasonably priced fare and courteous services. From the delightful food menu, dig into their delectable soups such as Minestrone Toscano (mixed vegetables, beans in tomato broth with pesto and pasta), or the Zuppa di mare (prawns, mussels, clams, and squid stewed in wine-flavoured light tomato sauce).

They never go wrong with their pizzas and offer such a variety that it may be hard to choose. But we suggest you go in for the Salmone (smoked salmon, fresh mozzarella, red onions, pesto and capers), Bismark (smoked ham, pepperoni, mushroom, onions, bull’s eye egg), or their very own Toscano (pesto chicken chunks, bell peppers, onions, olives, boiled egg).

Vegetarians can opt for Lasagna vegetariana (baked pasta layers, with vegetables in cheese sauce), Baked brie (roasted red pumpkin, and spinach mash, baked brie cheese, mixed greens and tomato coulis) or the Ravioli di zucca (pumpkin and carrot ravioli in sage butter walnut sauce).

Dessert lovers won’t be disappointed either. Those who possess a sweet tooth should opt for their Red Velvet Cake or the Chocolate Kahlua Mousse to end the evening on a sweet note.

So if you’re ever in the mood for some lip-smacking Italian fare, you know where to head.
