Nick Leonardus van de Wall is probably a name which you're not aware of. However, Afrojack, his stage name is will certainly ring a bell in your mind. He's probably one of the earliest DJs to successfully establish himself in the field of EDM music. He performed in Mumbai, India at the Dome, @NSCI on November 29 and the show was pretty legendary. Here are the reasons why we absolutely loved it!
1. Crazy Starting Line-Up
Setting the stage for the EDM heavyweight were DJ Wiwek, DJ Gregor Salto, DJ Apster and DJ Oliver Rosa who opened the event with their electrifying sounds. By the time they were done, the crowd was so riled up that chants of 'Afrojack' could be heard resounding across the stadium.
2. World Class Visual effects
From gas cylinders to confetti to streamers across the stadium, the ambience of the venue was made all the more magical by the visual effects. Not only that , the larger-than-life stage along with the thrilling music kept everyone on their toes and left them wanting more.
3. Bollywood Studded Night
Making an appearance at the event were Neil Nitin Mukesh and Jacquline Fernandes. While both looked stunning, their charisma added to the concert in ways which only a celebrity can manage to do. Also seen grooving to the beats were popular actors Sumona Chakravarti, Karanvir Bohra, Teejay Sidhu, Salil Acharya, and Meiyang Chang.

4. Afrojack's legendary music
Afrojack also used Smirnoff Experience as a platform to surprise his audience by playing some of his unreleased songs. With his incredible energy and unique style of Dutch, Progressive & Electro House, the party-goers were in for a truly rocking experience, and Afro delivered just that! There is a reason why Afrojack is so popular amongst the EDM crowd and a major part of this are his awesome mixing skills. The set at the event was another one with crowd favourites like Lean On and Hello being played at the event.
The night was the ultimate Smirnoff Experience. For more such upcoming events, check out our calendar here.
