Most of us have already had a whiff of this delicious duo when ordering a Piña Colada. The smooth flavours of coconut and the bold essence of rum makes this a hit combination. It’s just so very tropical and refreshing! But that’s not the only rum and coconut cocktail around. If you like this pairing, you’ll surely love these variations that make for the perfect tropical sippers. 

1. Coco Punch
Coco Punch's twist on the rum and coconut concoction makes for the perfect brunch cocktail. This blend of coconut milk with rum and banana liqueur looks great and tastes even better. 

Ingredients
45 ml Captain Morgan rum 
60 ml Sweetened Coconut Milk
20 ml Banana Liqueur
Grated Nutmeg 
Method
Add the rum, sweetened coconut milk, banana liqueur and ice to a shaker. Shake well and strain it into a glass. Add more ice and garnish with grated nutmeg.

2. Painkiller 
Head off to tiki paradise mentally with this rum and coconut cocktail. The sweet and tart flavours of pineapple and orange when paired with rich cream of coconuts, results in a delicious drink you’ll enjoy till the last sip. 
Ingredients
45 ml Captain Morgan rum
60 ml Pineapple Juice
30 ml Orange Juice
30 ml Coconut Cream
Pineapple Chunk for garnish
Method
Add all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously to dilute the coconut cream. Strain into a glass filled with ice. Garnish and serve.

3. Tropical Rum-tini
The Rum-tini is the perfect solution to your sweet cravings all year round. Filled with delightful ingredients like caramel, coconut and a cookie as the garnish will make this your go-to dessert drink for sure.

Ingredients
45 ml Captain Morgan rum
60 ml Coconut Cream
30 ml Honey 
4 dashes Bitters
Caramel Sauce
Coconut Flakes, for the rim
Cookie for garnish 
Method
Rim a coupe glass with caramel sauce, then roll in toasted coconut flakes. Add all remaining ingredients to a shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into a glass. Enjoy!

45 ml Amaretto Liqueur

90 ml Pineapple Juice
Splash of Milk
Crushed ice
Method
Pour Captain Morgan Spiced rum, amaretto liqueur, coconut cream, pineapple juice and milk into a blender with crushed ice. Blend until smooth and pour into a glass.
