SIP AWAY THE SEASON WITH SOME COLD BREW COCKTAILS

We all may love the summer sun, but admit it, isn’t it just too hot to handle?
The mere thought of going out tires me even before I step out. 
Don’t you think it would be great to deal with the summer sun with some cold brew cocktails in hand? 

I caught up with Brandon Toborg, Reserve Brands Ambassador Diageo over an icy cuppa and quizzed him about all the pos-sip-bilities of making cold brew cocktails!

 Sip Away The Season With Some Cold Brew Cocktails

And boy, there’s so much you can shake and stir with some Ketel One Vodka and good old cold brew.

Feel the summer breeze right at home as you, my friend, are in for a treat!

Easy Peasy
Ingredients:
60 ml Ketel One Vodka
40 ml cold brew 
20 ml vanilla syrup (gently heat 200mL sugar with 100mL water and 1 split vanilla bean, careful not to boil, whisk, remove from heat once all sugar is dissolved)
20 ml milk
Method:
Shake everything with ice and pour over ice in a tall glass

 Sip Away The Season With Some Cold Brew Cocktails

 

Big Bang
Ingredients:
60 ml Ketel One Vodka
120 ml cold brew
20 ml cinnamon syrup (boil 100ml water and 2 cinnamon sticks for 5 minutes, turn heat off then add 200ml sugar, whisk and remove from heat once all sugar is dissolved)

Method:
Stir all the above in a glass with ice
Top with whipped cream and nutmeg shaving

 

 

Tall Thick Chocolate
Ingredients:
60 ml Ketel One Vodka
60ml cold brew
30 ml full fat pouring cream
1 egg white (optional)
20 ml chocolate syrup

Method:
Shake the above hard with ice, pour into a tall glass with no ice, then fill with cold brew directly from the fridge. Garnish with chocolate shavings.

 

All Things Spice And Nice
Ingredients:
60 ml Ketel One Vodka
40 ml cold brew
20 ml spiced syrup (boil 100 ml water with 5g cloves 5g allspice, the peel of one orange. add 200 mL of sugar, whisk until sugar is dissolved)

Method:
Stir the above and serve over ice with an orange peel garnish.
