FOR THE LOVE OF CRICKET AND COCKTAILS, #MIXYOUROWN MATCH DAY MIXES WITH ZACHARY ABBOTT

Cricket and cocktails—tell us of a better combination. We’ll wait.

The game of cricket, especially the finals, calls for a nice cool cocktail to clink to with your squad. Wouldn’t you agree?

You know who else agrees with us? Our in-house expert and Brand Ambassador, Reserve Portfolio at Diageo, Zachary Abbott.

Being an Australian bartender there are two things Zac admits he likes talking about over the bar. One is cocktails and the other is cricket.

Zac tells us, “Whilst some sports have cocktails or drinks socially associated with them (Beer and Football, Champagne and Polo and Pimms and anything posh) cricket is a blank slate of sorts for the active bon viveur.”

So, he took it on upon himself to pen down a few names on this blank slate and give you some cricket-themed cocktails inspired by the cricketers and the game itself.
