We all love cocktails, but some of us actively ration how often we consume them, simply because cocktails are often overloaded with sugar and syrup, making them delicious but not really healthful.
That’s why we need to stop here and check out the latest upcoming trend on the block – cocktails made from superfoods.

Superfood cocktails incorporate natural ingredients to create a less sugary alcoholic (or non-alcoholic) beverage. Using fresh ingredients such as blueberries, cranberries, cucumber, and mango can bring some wonderful new tastes to happy hour. It’s been a long time coming - Europe’s first ever superfood cocktail bar, Tanya’s Café, opened in 2014 in Chelsea, the trend doesn’t appear to be slowing down. Here are some easy, fun recipes that you can try to make super (food) cocktails!

Ginger and Dark Rum Cocktail
Most ginger beers are loaded with sugar, but this version of the cocktail incorporates the use of real, homemade (and easy-to-make) ginger syrup mixed with club soda and Captain Morgan Rum. Lime juice rounds out the flavour and gives it some zest.

Imli Cocktail
For most of us, this deliciously sour Indian spice is reminiscent of many happy childhood memories – and that’s not where the magic of imli stops. Cold-press Gin + Juice
Cold-press juices are all the rage – and so is gin, which is slowly staging a comeback world-over.
