BOLD COCKTAILS TO BOWL YOU OVER

Bubbly or brewed, there are plenty of spicy and sweet ways to raise a toast to in 2019. So, whether you’re getting together with your gang or soothing your soul with your hands wrapped around a tall glass these cocktails are sure to bowl you over.

So, let’s get started!

1. Challenge Accepted
This gingery twist on the classic mint julep is perfect for a match day, or any day.

Ingredients: 
50ml Royal Challenge whisky
5-6 mint leaves
10ml lime juice
3-4 juliennes ginger
10ml sugar syrup
Top up soda water

Method: 
1. Muddle ginger and bruise the mint in a glass. Add the remaining ingredients to it followed by ice. 
2. Top it up with soda and serve.

2. Royalicious 
Besides warm hugs and chilly weather, you're sure to find your jam in this apple cinnamon whisky smash.

Ingredients
50ml Royal Challenge whisky
90ml apple juice
10ml cinnamon syrup 
10ml lime juice
Top up with soda water

Method
1. Add all the ingredients over ice. 
2. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and stir well.

Cool down with this refreshing mix of whisky, watermelon and basil.

Ingredients
50 ml Royal Challenge whisky
8-9 watermelon chunks
3-4 basil leaves
10ml lime juice
15ml watermelon syrup

Method
1. Muddle the watermelon, bruise the mint and drop them in a cocktail shaker with all the ingredients. 2. Shake hard and serve straight in a chilled cocktail glass.
 
4. Bold Impression
We all love a good whisky smash. This cranberry version with peach syrup is a recipe for all seasons. Try it now. 

Ingredients
50ml Royal Challenge whisky 
10ml peach syrup
20ml cranberry juice
10ml lime juice
Top it up with tonic water

Method
1. Mix all the ingredients over ice and serve in a tall Collins glass.
2. Garnish with a lime slice and stir well.


 5. Royal Fashioned
A few dashes of bitters and an orange twist is the best way to smooth out a whisky and bring out the sweetness.

Ingredients
50 ml Royal Challenge whisky
1 cube jaggery 
5 dashes angostura bitters
2 orange peels

Method
1.Take muddled jaggery, add bitters and an orange peel. 
2.Keep stirring the drink with ice till it gets diluted to a perfect old fashioned.
