 If you’re wondering what I’ll be doing this Friday night, the answer is I’m going to be healthy and DRINK my salad. Yes, you heard it right, I said drink and not eat. And I don’t mean in a boring smoothie sort of way. 

The most trending and Friday-eque way to enjoy your salad these days is in a cocktail.

Healthy and fun, that’s what this new concoction is all about! Could millennials ask for a better invention? 

I speak for an entire generation when I say that these salad cocktails are the best thing that happened to us. I mean, now, we can have our salad and enjoy it too. Ka-ching! 

So, the next time you invite your gym-going/yoga-loving friends over, add these salad cocktails to the menu and watch them be a total hit. 

Gin & Green Juice
Drinking your veggies couldn’t get any more fun than this. Just add some gin to your green juice and watch all your friends make the healthy choice.   
Ingredients 
50ml Tanqueray No.10 Gin 
90ml Fresh Green Veggie Juice 
Mint, for garnish 
Ice
Method
Build Tanqueray No.10 Gin and green juice over ice in a glass.
Stir and garnish with mint leaves.

Sweet Be(et)GIN-ings
For those new to these salad cocktails, how about a healthy Be(et)GIN-ings?
Ingredients 
45ml Tanqueray No.10 Gin 
30ml Fresh Beet Juice
15ml Simple Syrup 
15ml Freshly Squeezed Lemon
Ice
Method
Add all the ingredients, except the ice, to the shaker and shake for 30 seconds. 
Add the ice to it and continue shaking for another 30 seconds. 
Strain into a glass with more ice and serve.

Gin-Tastic Detox
All the green ingredients in this cocktail will help detox your body and the gin will detox your mind. That’s a win-win!
Ingredients
30ml Tanqueray London Dry Gin
Half Cucumber
Half Green Apple
1 Celery Stalk
A Handful of Baby Spinach
Ice
Method
Juice all the ingredients, except the gin and ice.
Pour it into a glass filled with ice.
Add the gin, stir and serve.

Green Gimlet
For your next course, how about some leafy greens? Arugula not only makes for a good salad topper but also a cocktail topper. 
Ingredients
60ml Tanqueray London Dry Gin
1 cup Arugula
20ml Fresh Lime Juice
15ml Simple Syrup
Lemon Twist, for garnish
Method
Combine the gin, lime juice and simple syrup in a shaker.
Add ice and top it with arugula.
Shake for about 20 seconds and strain in a glass
Garnish and serve. 

 
The Mix


Tanqueray Snapper
Tomato, spice and everything nice (by that we mean the gin), those are the ingredients used to make a fresh and flavourful cocktail. 
Ingredients
35ml Tanqueray London Dry Gin 
100ml Tomato Juice
2 Dashes Worcestershire Sauce 
Dash Tabasco Sauce 
4 Dashes Red Pepper Sauce 
Pinch Salt and Pepper
Pinch White Pepper 
Squeeze Half Fresh Lemon 
Lemon and celery, for garnish

Method
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. 
Give it a good shake and strain over fresh ice into a Collins glass. 
Garnish and serve.
