You’d be forgiven for thinking Priyanka Chopra is ageing backwards — going by pictures of the actress ringing in her 35th birthday, while on an exotic beach vacay with her family this week. For those who missed the first instalment, PC is sharing more “legs for days” images of mum Madhu Chopra from their holiday; leaving no doubt that swagger certainly is in their genes!
Of course, neither PC’s pins nor those of mum Madhu are the subject of this story. Instead, we’re rah-rahing Priyanka’s amazing ability to romance the pause whenever the opportunity arises. With filming for A Kid like Jake (co-starring Claire Danes) and Isn’t it Romantic (co-starring Liam Hemsworth) lined up in the near future, PC smartly opted to head out of the city for some real R&R on her birthday.
With brother Siddharth and BFF Tamanna Sharma along for company too, #thechopravacation put family first, while also celebrating asli yaari. Better still, this getaway gave the birthday girl some hard-earned downtime and she made the most of it by soaking up the sand and surf — both on the beach and by the pool — in an assortment of chic ensembles. A short, strappy floral dress and a leafy wreath were PC’s pick to bring in her birthday, as she sashayed on the shore while enjoying a special surprise from mum Madhu. In the proverbial sense, Priyanka has already seen her name in lights, but for her birthday, she was treated to the literal version. ‘HAPPY B’DAY PC’ read a sign in the sand, illuminated with several little lights — a special gesture indeed!
Between looking fantastic and being #grateful for all the birthday wishes that came her way on July 18, “island girl” PC also spent time getting acquainted with local flora and fauna. “When a shark, stingray and a birthday girl make friends,” PC posted alongside an amazing picture (that we’ve shared with you here). Now if that doesn’t give you serious vacation goals, we don’t know what will!
