After impressing the audiences with her compelling performance in the mighty hit, Padmaavat, the talented leggy beauty is now ready to be rewarded by the glory of having her statue being unveiled at Madame Tussauds wax museum in London.

The actress, who has recently featured on the ‘Time 100 Influential People of 2018’ list and Variety’s International Women’s Impact Report 2018, has gained immense popularity across the globe ever since she featured in the Hollywood film – xXx: Return of Xander Cage. This makes her an ideal personality to be a part of the coveted MT wax club.

Madame Tussad’s official Twitter handle made the announcement – “We're super excited to announce that the INCREDIBLE @deepikapadukone will be joining the family at #MadameTussaudsLondon next year! #DeepikaPadukone.”

Interestingly, given her global popularity, Deepika’s wax statute won’t be placed in the Bollywood section, rather her statute would be placed in the A-list club — a special area dedicated to global achievers. Her statute will be placed among superstars like - superstars like Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Helen Mirren and Deepi darling will be the only Indian actor to have a wax statue in this A-list section.

The team of Madame Tussaud's experts have already taken over 200 specific measurements and photographs of Deepika when they met her in London for a sitting to create an authentic figure of her.

Speaking about it, an excited Deepika said, “I am so delighted. The sitting with the team of experts was a special experience and I look forward to the incredible figure at the attraction.” The actress will not only have her wax studio in London but also in Delhi by early 2019.

Deepika took to her social media account to make the announcement and shared a childhood memory along with it.

The gorgeous gal wrote, “I felt very excited because the only time I visited the Madame Tussauds was in London when I was very little, with my parents. That memory has sort of stayed with me obviously, and then to receive a letter to be a part of that and to actually experience what goes into making these wax figures. I think Madame Tussauds is iconic in so many ways, you know it actually feels great to be a part of that.”

Deepika Padukone will join the league of wax glory along with her peers Aishwarya Rai, Katrina Kaif and Kareena Kapoor, who are among the other women celebrities in the ever-expanding galaxy of Bollywood stars at Madame Tussauds.
