6 B-Town Babes who Shrugged Their Work Cloaks & Wore Their Holiday Hats

They work round the clock with erratic schedules, shuttle from one city to the other for movie promotions, attend events, deal with uncomfortable press, dodge the paparazzi… Undoubtedly, behind the glamorous façade lies a lot of hard work and a stressful lifestyle!

And like any one of us the Bollywood demigods too need to take a pause and unwind. Whether that means cozying up in the comforts of their luxurious pads or vamoosing to some exotic locations, they often feel the need to switch off from the grind, let off some steam and have a good time.

Here are few B-town gals who recently took a break from their hectic schedules and romanced the pause at their favorite holiday destinations.

Kangana Ranaut

The Queen of Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut, soon after bagging her third National Award took off to a quaint town in Germany to take a break from her busy schedule and the stressful court battle with Hrithik Roshan. Kangana wanted some quiet time to rejuvenate before she started her next project – Simran, directed by Hansal Mehta. So soon after finishing some work commitments in London, the gutsy gal backpacked to Germany, where she romanced her pause and lived life to the fullest by enjoying the picturesque landscapes, cycling, and simply sitting by the streams.

Sonakshi Sinha

Sonakshi Sinha is a self-confessed water baby, and whenever our Dabangg actress gets some time out from her frenzied work schedule, she heads off to an exotic beach destination. The Lootera chick, who would soon be seen in Force 2 opposite John Abraham, recently visited Australia to chalk off one of the items from her long bucket list – Scuba Diving.  Sona had been wanting to scuba dive at Queensland's Great Barrier Reef – the world’s largest and healthiest coral reef system.  So recently, when she realized that she has few days off on her calendar, the junior shotgun hopped on a plane and went straight to Australia to enjoy her pause.

Parineeti Chopra

Sonakshi’s trip to the Australian continent set off a trend among other B-town actresses. Following her footsteps was the Ishaqzaade actress, Parineeti Chopra, who too went to the land of Kangaroos to romance her pause. Parineeti, just before starting her next project – Meri Pyaari Bindu, decided to take a break from her humdrum routine and trotted off to Australia for a long due vacation.  It was Parineeti’s dream to visit the country and she had the time of her life exploring the Tropical North Queensland in Australia. The petite actor not only did scuba diving but also indulged in a lot of other adventurous activities like - flying over the Great Barrier Reef in a chopper, going for hot air balloon rides, going on jungle safaris, driving her way from white sand beaches to Daintree rainforest, exploring the wildlife at Cairns etc. After all the exhilarating adventure, Pari also indulged in some luxury at the Pullman Cairns International.

Neha Dhupia

Neha Dhupia is another actress who grabbed her pause in Australia lately. In fact, the actress, who was recently seen in ‘MTV Roadies X4’ also took her parents along and had a fun rejuvenating vacation. Neha said, “I have been to Melbourne before but my parents have always wanted to visit Australia. Now it’s a tick off their bucket list. They loved it so much that now they plan to go back there again. We behaved like tourists and did everything. From the pacific drive to Bondi beach and the Blue Mountains to just lying on the grass and soaking in the city and kayaking.”

Sonam Kapoor

The fashionista who makes heads turn with her impeccable style quotient, recently took off to Austria on a two-week long family vacation, where the Neerja actress stayed at a popular European rehab luxury spa and resort and treated herself with massages and a colon cleanse. The Fashion Diva who usually takes a pause and unwinds at the picturesque landscapes of Austria said, “Austria is breathtaking. I'm fascinated by the colors here." While in Austria, Sonam went for long walks and explored the ancient churches built in the 17th century.  After her back-to-back hectic schedules, a calling from the Corinthian Alps seems just perfect for the Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo actress.

Lisa Haydon

The dusky beauty who shall soon be seen in Housefull 3 is a wanderlust. She often takes a break from her hectic schedules and romances the pause at some exotic location or the other. Recently the girl took off to the Swiss Alps for a vacation where she stayed at the gorgeous Gstaad Palace.

Well, while it was the quietude and adventure that defined the pause for these gorgeous Bollywood belles, how do you intend to romance your ‘pause’?

Here are some other destinations where your favorite celebs like to travel.
