Boy oh Boyd! They haven’t even released their entire campaign officially yet, but Dior Homme is turning heads with their latest blonde and beautiful brand ambassador. Following in the footsteps of superstars like Oscar-nominated actor Jude Law and Twilight’s utterly-delish Robert Pattinson, Boyd Holbrook has been signed on as Dior Homme’s new face.
Holbrook made his mark with ‘Gone Girl’ (2014), though it was Ben Affleck who fronted the film. Now, with Dior Homme Creative Director Kris Van Assche and photographer Willy Vanderperre taking note, Holbrook is all set to front a six-minute film — titled ‘Paris XVIE’ — for the luxury French label.
Explaining the concept for this collaborative film, Van Assche says, “It’s a romantic idea of an American wandering around Paris.” Holbrook is seen dancing, sipping cocktails and collecting flowers, while dressed in dapper Dior — and the theme spills into amazing autumn campaign stills too.
Slated for an August 31 online unveiling at diormag.com, for now a teaser of the film can only be seen in the brand’s Paris store windows.
