Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recently invited newcomers Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty’s parents to watch the portions of their debut film ‘Hero’. The film is a remake of Subhash Ghai’s 1983- superhit film of the same name which is now being directed by Nikhil Advani and produced by Salman Khan.
According to the sources, original plan was that only producer Salman would watch the rushes with the director, but being the nice guy that Salman is, he invited Suniel and Manna Shetty, Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahib to watch the film along with the lead pair. As a source revealed, “Salman decided that it was only fair to watch the film with Sooraj and Aathiya and their parents. The film means the world to them. Salman felt it was very unfair to keep them out of this experience. Aditya Pancholi, Suniel Shetty and his wife were duly summoned. Sooraj’s mom Zarina is away shooting for a film.”
Buzz is that apparently Sooraj and Aathiya who watched themselves for the first time on screen were showered with compliments by none other than the Khan himself!
On being asked about the development, Aditya Pancholi confirmed saying, “We watched two songs and one action sequence. What I saw left me speechless, not only because that was the first time I was seeing my son on screen. I’d have reacted equally incredulously even if the film starred another actor. Nikhil has done something magical to Subhash Ghai’s Hero. Both Sooraj and Aathiya are going to take the audience by surprise. They don’t act like newcomers at all.”
‘Hero’ is the debut movie for both the star kids--Sooraj Pancholi and Aathiya Shetty-- who would be seen in the lead roles. What more, the film has already generated a lot of curiosity in the industry due to its lead actor Sooraj Pancholi! Sooraj invited a lot of negative publicity last year for his alleged involvement in actress Jiah Khan’s suicide and was even arrested and sent to jail for it. But Salman Khan didn’t back off from launching him in Bollywood and stayed with Sooraj!
