Price Harry is better known for his way with women, but it seems Prince William also knows a thing or two about leaving the ladies weak-kneed. Late last week, Taylor Swift dished out the dirt on her infamous collaboration with the Brit royal and Bon Jovi, saying it was Will who dragged her out of the audience and onto the stage for the duet. It was in November 2013 that rocker Jon Bon Jovi joined other acclaimed musicians for a charity show at Kensington Palace and, as he belted out ‘Livin’ On A Prayer,’ asked William to join him.
“Bon Jovi got up to perform and he called Prince William out because he’d heard he loves singing ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’ on karaoke nights… Prince William looked at me and said, ‘I’ll do it if you do it, too,’ and then he took my hand,” Taylor recalls. “I was surprised and flattered and it felt surreal and completely natural at the same time. We jumped on stage and started to sing and we were really yelling into the microphone and clapping hands.”
With wife Kate in the audience, there was no hanky-panky (a la Harry), but Will certainly gave Taylor a night to remember. “I can’t believe I’ve sung with Prince William,” Swift is still gushing, so many months later. Clearly, a real royal can leave anyone star struck — including rock royalty!
