Each of us ‘romance the pause’ in our own unique way. For the explorers amongst us, the pause is a holiday off the beaten path. For the art aficionado, the pause may well be found while gazing upon a painting by a great master from the past. For others, like former Liverpool footie star Peter Crouch, the pause is a “man cave” where he can get away from the daily grind and find some alone-time doing all the things a man enjoys.
Earlier this week, as ‘Crouchy’ welcomed another daughter into the world, he admitted to feeling the pressure of girl power — with his gorgeous wife Abbey Clancy and four-year-old tot Sophia Ruby now joined by the new-born Liberty Rose, Peter is apparently feeling the pinch of being outnumbered in the Crouch household. And so, only half in jest, the current Stoke City striker announced that he was building a “man cave,” so he has somewhere to escape to when he can’t cope with his all-female house!
If this male-only bolt hole does materialise, it will no doubt be frequented by an all-star crew of Premier League footballers. It will also, most likely, have a souped-up sound system and a place for Peter to practice his legendary dance moves. After all, there’s nothing like a robotic dance session to recharge those batteries while you pause!
