Home is where they parted: Robin Thicke and Paula Patton put their house up for sale
There’s just that much a guy can do to woo a woman. Ask ‘Blurred Lines’ singer Robin Thicke, who has been trying to win his actress-wife Paula Patton back since the two separated earlier this year. From making many public pleas for reconciliation to naming his latest album 'Paula,' Robin has tried it all — to no avail. And now he’s "done begging."
From sources close to the couple, we hear that the 37-year-old singer is finally “moving on”, and has decided to accept that his marriage of eight years is over. Lawyers are working on separating their financial and physical assets, while their home in Los Angeles is also being put up for sale. Despite all this however, it seems Robin is not yet ready to file for divorce. It is an understandably hard change to accept, since the couple have been together for almost 20 years and have a four-year-old son together. Of course, with rumours rife that Robin cheated on Paula, the woman scorned wants no part in working out a truce and resurrecting the high-profile marriage.
Their house — an exclusive Bird Street three bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom home — was a wedding gift for the couple from Robin’s father Alan Thicke, and is expected to fetch up to three million dollars. With a pool, spa and courtyard included (and impressive views of Downtown LA to boot), the once ‘thick’ twosome, should expect a healthy interest from prospective buyers.
