Getting to the ‘bottom’ of the Kylie Minogue matter

Long before Pippa Middleton, there was Kylie Minogue — the queen of delectable derrières. When she danced to ‘Can’t Get You Out of My Head,’ viewers were left with an unforgettable image; one of many that made her bottom the most talked about in the business. For a generation of men whose idea of ‘sexy’ was defined by Miss Minogue, this update from the dancing diva herself will come as very, very sad news. In a recent interview with The Sun newspaper, Kylie confesses to having lost her perky posterior to age. “In your forties, things tend to go south. I don’t think I can live up to expectations. I see myself in the mirror every morning and it’s not the same as what everyone else sees. It’s a less polished version,” says the still-svelte 45-year-old, insisting she feels the need to work out more. “I’m careful what I eat. I don’t drink lots or party much,” Kylie adds. But, just to avoid deep disappointment for dozens of dudes, Kylie also made it a point to tell another interviewer: “The bottom is doing very nicely, thank you — it’s holding up well. I think of it as something entirely separate from me. The bottom is its own entity. It even has its own Twitter profile. I should write letters to it!” And while she does that, a million men could write three letters: (still) H.O.T!
