‘Bigg Boss 8’: A smooth take-off, but expect turbulence!
Though critics complained that the season premiere of ‘Bigg Boss 8’ was far too long, it’s unlikely the show’s aviation-themed take-off is going to end in a crash landing. After all, this year’s contestants are destined to be just as dramatic TRP-magnets as ever. There are hotties galore, in the form of Natasa Stankovic, Karishma Tanna, Minissha Lamba, Sukirti Kandpal, Diandra Soares, Sonali Raut and TV vamp Soni Singh (if you can categorise her as a hottie). There’s Sushant Digvikar — a Mr.Gay India (he won the title, we didn’t make up the designation) — and a TV star by the name of Praneet Bhatt, who played Shakuni in the 2013-14 ‘Mahabharat’ series. Plus, there’s no short supply of testosterone with Gautam Gulati, Upen Patel and Arya Babbar making up the numbers. Now Upen is known for his way with the ladies and is also for being brash from time to time. Arya, on the other hand, is known not to suffer fools. It’s early days yet, but it seems likely that these two will play off against each other. Of the lovely ladies, we can’t wait to see who hooks up with whom and what alliances will form in the next few days — but we’re looking forward to seeing the out-spoken Diandra Soares at work in the house.
Fasten your seatbelts, people. ‘Bigg Boss 8’ is here.
