A baby for Renée Zellweger?
Renée Zellweger has given us some of our favourite Hollywood moments (think Bridget Jones’s Diary and Jerry Maguire) but in real life, she has a very important role she hasn’t been able to play yet: that of a mum. From across the Atlantic we hear that the 44-year-old actress is finally feeling ready to make the commitment, having settled into a comfortable relationship with an old friend from her days at the University of Texas. The man is question is musician Doyle Bramhall II, guitarist to Eric Clapton, and friends say Renée sees him as a “good, solid guy” with whom she can “easily imagine starting a family.” Insiders add that Renée may opt for adoption, because “she knows that she probably missed the boat on carrying and giving birth to a child.” With Sandra Bullock and Angelina Jolie playing poster girls for adoption in Hollywood, Renée will be in good company if and when she joins the ranks!
