Abish started his career as the hilarious extra Sundas on Comedy Central’s Camp Pains or the bad pun-cracker on the Youtube show: the Punliners. He has performed as a headliner comic for various comedy groups such as Weirdass Comedy, East India Comedy, SchitzenGiggles and the Papa CJ Comedy Company, Abish. He has also performed at the Utrecht International Festival (Holland), Lafflines (Canada) and the New York Comedy Club (USA).
Following the year 2010, he went on to become a recurring comedian at various places, such as the Canvas Laugh Factory. He properly arrived on the scene following the success of his own show, the christened Son of Abish.
Besides his shows, Abish is a comedy creator and occasional collaborator with All India Bakchod, often being a part of both their videos and live shows.
Abish is regarded as a highly experience comic, with his sets being full of original songs, silent sketches, improve and stand-ups alongside his latest online creation ‘Son of Abish’.
He believes that his attempt to write ‘jokes that my parents can also laugh at’ helped me get the tag of being among the ‘cleanest’ acts. That being said, Abish’s style of humour is often provocative and not for the faint-hearted, Ugandan cops, Salman Khan, or your religious Catholic friend. Abish himself remarks, ‘If I had to make my jokes any cleaner, I’d sell them as a hand sanitizer!’
