The Derby Dances To Sarosh's Tunes

The Signature Premier Indian Derby was witness to some mellifluous music belted out by one of India's rising musical talents - Sarosh Nanavaty. A member of the Mumbai-based electronic-rock outfit Vega Massive, she captivated the crowds with her soulful voice.

At the fashion show by Pria Kataria Puri on Day 1, Sarosh looked resplendent in a red dress. As models strutted about her, she sang popular RnB numbers that blended easily with the mood of the event. In a shimmery golden dress on Day 2, Sarosh set the stage on fire with her rendition of the popular Adele song - Set Fire to the Rain and also her take on the Peggy Lee song 'Fever'

Live in Style caught up with the talented songstress at the derby and here's what she had to say regarding her major musical influence "Although Adele is a personal favorite, I also look up to Duffy and Beyonce. I'm always excited to perform my own rendition of their songs, because I personally connect with them. It's not just them, I also have personal favorites among the classics like Whitney Houston and Celine Dion and I admire their voice range."
