Mumbai gets a dose of the Signature Premier After Match Party
After Pune, it was turn of the City of Dreams to experience the glitz and glamour of the Signature After Match Party. The party was held in Trident, Nariman Point, which offered a gorgeous view of the Arabian sea and the skyline. But there was certainly no shortage of beauty inside the hotel too.
There were some beautiful women who walked in to the party dressed to the nines. The bartender whipped up the special cocktails for the party known as ‘Peach Appeal’ and ‘Ginger Swing. Morne Morkel, David Warner and Roelof Van Der Merwe were the first to walk in. They were soon joined by Glenn Maxwell, Kieron Pollard and Andre Russell. The latter two were in the mood to party and were seen having a good time, interacting with the guests. Also spotted were Mandira Bedi and Sameer Kochhar Mandira who was wearing a black and white Bebe dress with BC shoes was thrilled about the Mumbai Indian's win. .
The event started with songstress Anusha Mani who regaled the audience with her rendition of Rihanna’s ‘We found love in a hopeless place’. This was soon followed by the fashion shows and a performance by the White Mischief Cheerleaders. And then it was time for the real party to start. The unique thing about the Signature After Match Parties is that, all the DJs are women. Talk about making men dance to your tunes! She belted out one track after another and soon had everyone on the dance floor
Kieron Pollard was quite easily the most popular cricketer out there with many queuing up to click pictures with the West Indian Superstar. When LIS asked him about his thoughts on the game, he said, "I am happy that we won! Team performed well. I am excited about future matches".
The music went on till the early morning hours and it was finally time to end the night of partying. We had a great time in Mumbai. Seeing all the cricketers up close and personal along with a bevy of beautiful models is something only the Signature After Match Party can do. The party bus next halts at Bangalore.
