RCB's Champ Virat Kohli Is Training Hard To Be Back On The Field For VIVO IPL
As unfortunate as it could get, Indian captain and Royal Challengers Bangalore’s skipper Virat Kohli was injured while diving to stop a boundary on the second day of the third Test between India vs Australia in Ranchi last month. Kohli had sustained injuries to his right shoulder after the nasty fall and is still recovering from it.
While many are still speculating if RCB’s star cricketer, who scored a record of 973 runs in the IPL last year, would return to the field for the 10th edition of Indian Premier League or not… Kohli shared a video on his Instagram page stating that he is working hard and can’t wait to be back on the field.
"My rehab's going well. Training hard to get back onto the field… Can't wait. A big shout out to the fans, just wanna say that I'll be back soon and in the meantime please keep supporting RCB and make sure we have a good start," said Kohil.
Earlier too, post his injury, when questioned about whether he would play during IPL matches, Kohli had stated at the Dharamsala presentation ceremony, “Still a few weeks to go till I can be 100% on the field. You have to take it in your stride and move forward.”
Now, that’s what we call a bold player. Can’t wait to see him back on the field, right guys?
