From what it seemed like, the little black dress, and evening dresses with elegant stilettos seemed to be trend for the fairer sex while the men were comfy in jeans and t-shirts or casual shirts. The guests seemed to be enjoying and the party fever was just revving up when Rahul Sharma, Ashok Dinda, Manish Pandey, all dressed in comfy t-shirts in red, white and black respectively, stepped in to join the party. Soon after, the 'signature' event of the Signature After Match Parties was underway.
It was a spectacular fashion show with budding fashion designers strutting their stuff. Asif Shah and Nivedita were the two designers who were the stars of the day. While the former presented a collection close to a summer collection with light fabrics and floral designs, the latter presented a great collection of winter evening wear for 2012. The designs were presented by Candice Pinto, Aanchal Kumar and Saniya Sheikh and other models and they were loved by the attendees.
Then came one of the highlights of the evening, the White Mischief cheer girls. They simply rocked the party with their electrifying moves. Dressed in their quintessential red and white White Mischief outfits, they charmed everyone out there. Having set the tone for the night and the party to get even better, the commentators then urged on the cricketers to walk the ramp with the cheer girls. Andre Russell set the ramp on fire and Unmukt Chand, Captain of U-19 team along with Rahul Sharma followed suit, who made the hearts of all the young girls flutter with his smile and boyish charm. Ashok Dinda and Manish Pandey followed, albeit with some edging on. Just when we thought, no other players are going to grace the occasion, Kevin Pietersen and Mahela Jayawardene from Delhi Daredevils joined the party. Shutterbugs went in a frenzy seeing these two cricketers but the cricketers did not seem to mind. Finally, it was time for some gourmet getaway as the guests dispersed to enjoy the food. Speaking about the event, Rutuja Deshmukh, one of the attendees present there said, "It was a good event, although i would have loved to see a few more players". Well, we agree! Still, it was a 'signature' rocking party by Signature we say!
