The Signature After Match Party kicked off at 10:30 pm with a Signature Bold & Beautiful fashion show displaying Bangladeshi designer Bibi Russell’s latest collection perfect for the summer. Beautiful colors and simplicity are usually the underlying common theme in all her collections, this one being no different. The models walked down the ramp to catchy Bangla music. The clothes were very summery and more importantly very wearable.
The Signature Bold & Beautiful fashion show was followed by a performance by the White Mischief gals. This clearly was the highlight of the night and any doubts about their motivational skills were quelled after their performance last night.
The loss didn’t seem to stop DC player Daniel Christian from turning up at the party and chilling. He appeared relaxed and unaffected by the loss. When asked about the team’s prospects, he seemed optimistic which is good news for the Chargers fans! Other Chargers like Bharat Chipli and Chris Lynn made an appearance for a while. Also spotted Shaun Tait and Sapnil Asnodkar enjoying their well-deserved drinks. Siddharth Trivedi, who played a crucial role in the Royals’ victory by taking three wickets, seemed to be having a ball after winning the Man of the Match. He has his eye on the Purple Cap this season if his three wicket haul earlier yesterday was any indication.DJ Murthy and DJ Sowmya kept the crowd entertained with Bollywood numbers. Munni and Sheila ki jawani seemed a favourite among the Mischief girls. A certain middle aged pot bellied man was clearly high on the night’s spirits with his Dharmendra style dance moves around the girls till the bouncers steered him in another direction. We also spotted Jwala Gutta and Kamna Jethmalani having a drink at the bar.
The players and the cheerleaders called it at early night choosing to return to the hotel at 1.30 am.
