Quirky Party Themes For November

The food menu is planned to the tee, the drinks iced, the desserts baked and ready to be served but everything still seems too drab, very run of the mill. You are at your wit’s end looking for ways to spruce up the party but everything seems overly cliché. Here are some party themes that will help you spice up the cliché.

November Rain

Throw a rocktail party by the pool; get your guests to unearth their old rock tees, ripped jeans and jackets for a night of good classic rock music blaring on the speakers. And for those more adventurous types who want to brave the cold temperatures of November, a dip in a freezing cold pool is a perfect way to get your adrenaline rushing. A good alternative to hard drinks, don’t you think?

Movember

Guys if you need an excuse to not a shave, then a Movember theme party is perfect for you.You can have a little more fun by buying fake, over the top moustaches and beards and who knows maybe the new look might suit you and get you a second glance from the ladies. The best bit is that you will be doing it for a good cause.

Bbq Nights

If house parties are too passé for you then hold your party at some obscure location on the outskirts of the city maybe and send out your google map location to your guests. Then fire up the grill, throw in some chunky pieces of meat and sit back watch the embers work their magic. Wash the meat down with some cold beer and voila, you have an unforgettable barbeque party under a beautiful star lit sky.

DIY Cocktail Party

Get your guests to add a dash of lime or maybe a dollop of cranberry juice and some mint leaves or whatever they fancy, get creative and make their own cocktail. Follow that by a cocktail tasting and naming session, who knows someone might come up with the next best cocktail in town.

Neon Nights

Do you want to see your guest’s true colours? All you need to do is tell your friends to turn up with their faces painted with glow in the dark paints. Turn off the lights and paint the town neon with a glow-in-the-dark-masquerade ball.
