Made in Punjab unbolts its gates at DLF Mall of India, Noida

#PunjabiNext, a hash tag, owner Zorawar Kalra and team must have chosen after serious contemplation; after all Punjabi cuisine is truly what Delhi boasts of, thrives on and yearns for after international savory epicurean intermissions.

Adding another feather to his humongous swarming hat is Made in Punjab – destination Noida. MIP goes off the latch in Noida at the newly opened and the most thronged malls of NCR, DLF Mall of India. Gastronomes and sots walked in to wallow in celebratory flavors soaking up the warmth of ebullient interiors intertwined with leather seating, wooden flooring and ambient lights - characteristically Zorawar’s patent style. Amidst eminent food journalists and writers, genial greetings, cozy rendezvous, the evening proceeded with incessant zest and zeal.

What made the soirée a classy event:

Divine Food

Zorawar Kalra’s emblematic food style reflects in everything that is served here. The launch party had a sumptuous assortment of finger food, burgers, tikkas, and succulent kebabs on the float. The food became the primary addiction – both pictorially and appetizingly. The Mushroom Chakli which basically was a mushroom kebab was tender and lusciously compelling. The Kukkad Bun Chori was easy to bite in bearing in mind the filling had creamy ragada chicken. The best bite was the Tanddori Chaamp – the lamb was tender and so deliciously marinated with spices, it had me floored.

Gripping Comical Names kept us amused

When demarcating segments on the menu are called Kebab Lai Crazy, Sehat Nu Take care, Gadbadkar, Muumy ji da Pyaar, Tussi Veg Ho etc. who’d not have a good laugh and not want to order something out of curiosity and meandering persuasion.

A Bar to remember

The night saw signature cocktails being served like Chai Pani and Jat Risky – the bar was brimming with guests who were excited to try out the delectable cocktails being churned out. I loved my Ciroc flavored cocktail the most, kept me hooked till after-hours. '

Music & Lyrics

As we enjoyed the warm indulgence and enormously loving hospitality, the live music kept the spirits quite high. The stage was set for live band that took everyone down the nostalgic musical lanes of the 80’s and 90’s adding to the gusto and enriching the enthralling night.
