This New Year’s Eve, you and your Yaars, doll yourself up for we’re taking you through the places to be on 31st evening. In Koregaon Park, you always find Pune’s party goers; and why wouldn’t you, when this culinary heaven gives you great music, even better bars, and the best crowd?
No matter what your age, you relive your youth in this city. Whether you want to take a relaxing walk through North Main Road with the pretty lights coming at you, and then maybe stop by one of the lanes for a good restaurant (you’re guaranteed to find one in every corner here!) or dance till your feet hurt, Koregaon Park has the right vibe for every type. But New Year's means one thing- great place and of course great crowd. Here’s a list of places we suggest you should be heading over to with your Yaars this New Year's Eve in Koregaon Park, Pune.
At the High Spirits Café (‘High’ is what the regulars call it) you’re all set to have a wild party with your homies. Interiors with youthful psychedelic retro feels (you will find Adarsh Balak on the walls),great music with some of the best artists in the country performing for a young, enthusiastic crowd, unforgettable rounds of shots, some of the best food to munch on, and of course an endless amount of pictures. That sums up your happy, crazy night at High. The owner, Khodu Irani and his kickass team make sure you have a night you never forget at this little home of theirs- The High Spirits Café. Don’t forget- their parties always continue at Mix 36 in Westin, Koregaon Park. The night is always young when you’re at ‘Da High’.
Euriska boasts of interiors that look straight out of some place in Greece. White walls with blue and fluorescent accents make this one of the most beautiful night clubs in the city. The vibe here is energetic, young and fun. For those of you who shy away from dancing, Euriska has tables where you can sit back and enjoy a beautiful, soothing dinner. As you move towards the dance floor these dinner tables are replaced with smaller tables with bar stools. But we assure you that the music will get you in the mood, and before long you’ll be at the dance floor. This beautiful lounge has all the ingredients of a perfect, beautiful evening.
If you’re looking for king size- come here. With its 110 feet long bar and molecular cocktails, this rooftop pub gives you the best atmosphere to party in. With some trippy EDM beats in the background, you can’t help but tap your feet to the music. It can be a little heavy on your pockets, but it’s New Years Eve, its larger than life!
When you’re at the Oak Lounge, be prepared to party till the wee hours of the morning. With some great remixes by the DJs, don’t be surprised to see yourself energetic even at 2:00am! The bar’s collection of alcohol is impressive with the variety in wines, cocktails, and the classic liquors. The classy wooden interiors set the perfect ambience for one stylish yet crazy party. At Oakwood, you’re bound to have a night you’ll never forget.
You could also stop by at the Bistro downstairs for a quick dinner before you head out to the lounge to party the night away!
At Mix, you’ve got the best of both worlds- a lounge with the dance floor alongside the bar where you can sip your cocktails or dance to the beats being played. This lounge extends to the beautiful rooftop where you’ll find most people sitting down with their drinks, having a conversation or two, catching a break between all the mad dancing. After midnight, the crowd from the nearby pubs moves in here. The crowd doubles, and so does the energy, the vibe, and there starts your wild night. Prices here are definitely on the higher side, but every bit is worth it.
