The revelry and merry making was the perfect prelude to the impending New Year. Vagator, Sunburn’s venue was a never ending party that embraced the universal motto of Live Love Dance and this year the festival was bigger than ever.  To summarize the madness that Sunburn was.

Seven plus Stages: Each stage set up at Sunburn 2014 followed a theme. Dance Temple, Cubizoid, Space Station, Space Jungle and Secret Stage also boasted of incredible stage design and set up.  A multi-sensory experience with LED and laser lights provided a high octane fusion of space, light and music.

Main attractions: Being one of the top 10 music festivals of the world, Sunburn had a great line-up of over 150 artists and DJs who tore the stage apart. It consisted of Krewella, Knife Party, Sasha, Nucleya, Dualist Inquiry, Sander Van Doorn, Mark J, Jamie Jones to name a few. The highlight of Sunburn 2014 was Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike. The duo are currently ranked at world no two and they signed off Sunburn 2014 and left the crowd wanting for more.

Workshops: it was not just music at Sunburn this year. The Dream Catcher, Puppetry, Kite Flying and Drum Circle workshops were arranged. The workshops started early and the crowd had free access to these so they could leave the music festival with a brand new skill to flaunt.

Stalls and Shacks: Flea Markets to shop, Smirnoff Ice experience stalls that hosted party games and gave away free drinks to winners, Hula Hooping with professional hoppers, food stalls offering a variety of cuisines and the #unfakeit shack with a giant personality mirror were some of the stalls and shacks that was set up at the gigantic venue. These ensured the crowd had always something to do at all times.

The Camping: Everyone knows peak season in Goa being November and December is crazy and getting hotel reservations is the biggest challenge of all.  To help, the organisers this year had set up a camping area where ticket holders were allowed to camp at site with their buddies. Allowing the EDM lovers to Eat, Sleep, Rave and Repeat.

After Parties: Though the fest would end by 10 PM, the slew of After Parties ensured that music never stopped. Different night clubs spread across North Goa had organized some of the most promising After Party parties. Once Sunburn ended for the day, mostly everyone was seen heading to an after party that went on till the wee hours.
