Sugar Syrup

1 shot stem ginger syrup

1 750 ml of light rum

1L ginger ale

Juice and pulp of 8 limes

Put the bruised mint leaves into a large jug. Mix it in the syrup and the lime before adding the rum and ginger ale before you serve.

GIMLET

If you have followed the stylish TV series Mad Men, you would know what GIMLET is all about. For people who are unaware of GIMLET, it is a simple mixture of gin and lime cordial. It was created to help the medicine go down smoothly.

60 ml/2 parts Gin

30 ml/1 part Rose’s Lime Cordial

Garnish it with lemon twist

Simply shake all ingredients with ice and serve it into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish it with a lime twist.
