Don’t do last minute party-hopping. You’ll end up getting stuck in traffic, or worse - fog, and end up counting down to the New Year in the least happening place in the world: inside your car!

Don’t wear that uncomfortable tuxedo or too tight dress because you need to “fit in”. Wear absolutely whatever you feel good in. Just a warning - make sure you don’t freeze; very few New Years are happy if you have hypothermia.

Don’t drink and drive! It’s the last day of the old year, not the last day of all your years.

Don’t brawl in a bar. Yes, you got nudged; it’s crowded, but that’s because everyone wants to celebrate. Smile, and get on with your life :)

Don’t be a party pooper and leave the party at 12:30 AM. Relax and have a good time with your friends. It’s not like you’ll be expected to show up at work anyway.

Don’t forget to have an amazing time and spend time celebrating with your near and dear ones, irrespective of which happening party you might miss. After all, what you do after the clock strikes 12, has a heavy influence on the rest of your year ahead.
