Film Festival - The Cannes film festival runs from mid to late May and is held at the Palais des Festivals. Consider yourself blessed if you manage to get your hands on the free tickets for some selected movie screenings. Celebrity spotting at the Palais is the most common activity during the festival season, as one can watch the movie stars walk down the red carpet.

Ports – The beautiful Vieux Port of Cannes harbors a colorful and visually stimulating mix of small fishing boats and luxury yachts. An exploration of the Lerins Islands can be done by taking a boat from the port, which is quite the experience in itself. Absorb the beautiful island groups in and around the coast of Cannes.
