Imran Khan, as you will soon read, is not a big party animal - what he does believe in though is in young people’s right to decide whether they want to party, and drink once they crossed the age of 21. Khan attended INCA to speak about his court battle with the Maharashtra government, when they legislated to raise the drinking age from 21 to 25 in the state. Khan has personally taken on the government and spoke about how he sees this as a step towards a nanny state. What is your idea night out?

My idea of going out is to have few friends over at home [and] cook dinner. I enjoy cooking.

Oh, is there any particular cuisine or anything that you enjoy cooking?

Generally, stuff that I like to eat, so I’m particularly proud of my lasagne. I’ve spent many, many, many years kind of tweaking the Bolognese sauce for that. Currently that is the dish of which I am most proud. I do a mean chilli con carne as well.
