In a world dominated by Android and iPhone, Blackberry was seen as an also-ran. But yesterday, it announced its comeback with the launch of its flagship phone, Blackberry Z10. The phone was launched by Ranbir Kapoor, who is the brand ambassador of Blackberry.
The Z10 has been priced at Rs. 43,490 and comes with a host of new features. Prominent ones are the Social Hub (one stop for all social media needs), BB Balance (work files and personal files are divided) and a full touch screen enabled with swipe.
The phone sports a 4.2 inch LCD screen, 1.5GHz dual core processor, 2GB RAM and dual camera (8MP at the back and 2MP front facing) amongst other specifications.
This is Research in Motion's(RIM) biggest launch in many years and a lot of Blackberry users are looking forward to upgrade to the new model. Will it be a runaway success? Only time will tell.
