Now that the Palladium has become St. Regis, it’s the hotel du jour in Lower Parel. If the skyline doesn’t sweep you off your feet, the food certainly will. The restaurant boasts of Vietnamese, Thai and Chinese staples as well as Dim Sums, Maki Rolls to go with your drinks. Managed by the same people that run the Lower Parel nightclub The Tryst, Doppio bar and brasserie is their next offering in Breach Candy. It has a coffee shop like vibe with comfortable couches as well as dining section with a community tables. And similarly Doppio has an exhaustive bar menu with a range of coffee inspired cocktails like the Smoked Espresso and the Garam Masala Agave, Rum Cappuccino and Whisky Latte. Doppio has a soups, salads, small plates and big plates section along with a small dessert menu. Their non-vegetarian choices are excellent especially the lobster benedict and the lamb bolognaise and the bar nibbles are also delectable with options like tempura, truffle fries and poutine with beer fondue.
