Bouncing back from heartbreak isn’t Liberty Ross’ only bold move

Liberty Ross

As if having her husband cheat on her wasn’t bad enough, British model Liberty Ross was forced to endure the humiliation under a global spotlight. After all, her husband’s dalliance with Kristen Stewart was the reason Robert Pattinson and his ‘Twilight’ co-star broke up — back when the world was obsessed with their picture-perfect romance.

At the time, Liberty Ross made it clear she wouldn’t stand for it and called time on her marriage of 10 years, taking a bold step towards initiating divorce proceedings. In July 2014 — about a year after the cheating scandal came to light — Liberty had officially bid adieu to filmmaker Rupert Sanders, with whom she has two children.

In 2012, we were impressed by how Liberty stood strong when the tempest hit and today the model-turned-actress has proved, once again, that her bold move wasn’t a flash in the pan.

On February 13, Liberty tied the knot for a second time; marrying Beats by Dre and Interscope Records co-founder Jimmy Lovine in a ceremony held in Malibu. But choosing to walk down the aisle again isn’t the bold move we’re rah-rahing her for. It is, in fact, her world view that has us floored. “People need to learn to forgive,” says new-bride Liberty, who previously confessed to feeling “happier” than she’s ever felt, having moved on after the scandal. “I’m in such a great place. All of us are: my kids are great, Rupert’s amazing, we have all moved on and everyone is doing really well… No life is perfect, we all have our problems and issues and I believe that it’s good to be true to who you are.”

Sometimes being “true to who you are” is tougher than it sounds, but Liberty proves it is possible. Now that’s a bold move to toast to!
