6 ways to enjoy Pepsi IPL 2015 to the fullest

The high-profile IPL tournament is here again and we're more than ready for it. As much as we’d like to think that the tournament brings joy and excitement into the country every year, not many people know how to savour the event. Here are some suggestions that will help you #unfake this IPL!

1) Stop posting selfies

There are three dire problems the world is facing today: Ebola, terrorism, and selfies. Taking your own picture isn’t a sign of coolness, it's a sign of being jobless. So, put your phone aside and enjoy the IPL experience.

2) Do not gamble!

One reason: It is ILLEGAL. We don’t want you to watch the IPL final in prison.

3) Don't get into a tussle.

It’s cool to go all out in support of your team but try not to get into fights with fans of the rival team. Bar brawls kill the spirit of the game. Enjoy the competitive spirit and chill!

4) Stay away from WhatsApp

WhatsApp can prove to be another major distraction. Don’t use it while the match is in progress. If you keep checking your phone every six seconds, your friends will most probably disown you. And god forbid, you’ll be left alone with your wretched phone.

5) Watch the entire game!

You can desert your cellphone if you like but don't walk out on your friends halfway through the game. That's what spoilsports do. Unless you have a strong reason (read: End of the world), walking out on your friends is taboo.

6) Don’t go on a date on match day.

Admit it! You'll be on the phone most of the time checking match updates, which will eventually make your date feel left out. In addition to that, you'll miss out on the experience of watching the game. So you will gain nothing out of the terrible idea of going on a date on match day. Avoid it!

7) Stay away from Facebook/Twitter.

When you're watching the game with your friends, stay away from Facebook and Twitter. You don't want to be busy putting up constant updates and Tweets whilst missing out on exciting moments in a game. Being glued to FB/Twitter would only show how anti-social you are. Be prepared to not get any invite from your friends to future IPL match screenings.
