Signature Premier After Match Party - Finishing Off With A 'Bang'alore

It just keeps getting better – the’ Signature Premier After Match Party’ never fails to live up to its billing. It is that time when one leaves on-field worries behind and lets his hair down! And Bangalore certainly did that.

The big one, the last of the Signature After Match Parties to have happened through the course of this IPL season, was a blast! UB city was abuzz! All the cricket action was left on-field, as the RCB players put their loss behind to have a ball at the gala event.

The venue, a scenic amphitheatre, brimmed with the crowd much before the entrants were allowed in. The weather too did its bit by holding the rains up, something that was recurring over the past few days.

The DJ kept countless feet tapping as every soul waited for the proceedings - a Ritu Pande fashion show - to begin. From a man’s perspective, and I’m being brutally honest, the designer’s collection wowed me more than the women donning it. The collection had vigour, exuberance & beamed sensuality.

The mischief kicked in when the RCB cheer squad took the stage. The ‘White Mischief’ girls made sure that every person at the venue swayed only to their moves. Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli, Moises Henriques, Zaheer khan, AB De Villiers & Muttiah Muralitharan took turns as they walked the ramp with the ‘White Mischief’ girls in tow. This, most definitely, took the party to a higher decibel.

Silver Strings then cast a spell on the crowd, churning out some exotic music, with a stage presence that held attention through their set. Falguni and Shane Peacock were up next and they exhibited their collection - a bold & simultaneously ethnic range - that left the crowd gaping.

The party didn't end there. It was crowd-pleasing time and what better way to do it than the Gangnam Style! The RCB players too couldn't sit themselves down. Gayle, on this occasion, stormed the ramp with his moves. Kohli too had moves to showcase, as the entire crowd went berserk, twisting and turning, to some popular tracks.

Late night or early morning, whatever you consider it as, guests left the venue anticipating even more grandeur when the next ‘Signature After Match Party’ happens. An attendee summed it up the best. “A benchmark for parties has been set.” she said.
