The Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, Bailliage de Bengaluru is pleased to announce the return of the noted international culinary platform for young chefs of promise: Le Concours de L’Inde des Jeunes Chefs Rôtisseurs 2015 (National Young Chefs Competition or JCR) which is once again being held in Bengaluru.
 
The JCR is an international competition held by the Chaîne to encourage and support young chefs worldwide. This is the second time this competition will be held in India coordinated once again by the Chaîne's Bailliage de Bengaluru (chapter). It will be held on Sunday 3rd May at The Lalit Ashok, Kumara Krupa High Grounds, Bengaluru. Mme Marie Jones, international vice-president of La Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, from the Paris HQ, will officiate as chief guest and head judge for the competition.
 
The participants will have to show their skill and creativity by devising and cooking a three course gourmet meal over a time limit of 3 and a half hours, using ingredients, including wines from the awarded range of Four Seasons, from a specially assembled secret black box. The dishes will be judged by a panel of distinguished judges and the results will be announced at an award function after the competition. The winner of the Indian competition will fly to Budapest to represent India at the very prestigious finale of the international JCR in September 2015, competing against his peers from 80 Chaîne member countries.
