A chair that epitomizes comfort is a must in your living room. You might be tempted to blow off your entire budget on this chair but don’t forget a good sofa. After all, if you plan to entertain, couch is where all the action will be.
A sizable portion of your budget definitely should be dedicated to a big screen TV. Though you might think bigger the better, buy something that is proportionate to your living room. The next item to check off the list is a good Home theatre system. All of your actions movies, game consoles and live sports demand a sound system that does not disappoint.
While an endless supply of beer in the fridge is a given, you might want to add a sturdy bar unit to your swanky new place. It will ensure that you will have all the right bartending tools for the nights when you are throwing a party, a storage space for the variety of glasses and most importantly, a closet for the liquor bottles.Personal Space
Must have – King-size bed with a nice mattress and good quality sheets. If you aren’t too enthusiastic about home décor, solid colors such as grey and blue are a great option. Ensure that your bedroom is a reflection of you by picking out add-ons like posters of your favourite iconic movie or novelty pieces of art. Your bed should look inviting and not just to you.
Although it is difficult to fit in a Jacuzzi or bath in today’s shoebox sized bathrooms, you should try and get one. It is a worthy investment. Don’t forget to install a luxury-oversized showerhead, geared for pressure.
Make a little space in some corner of your home for mini-gym. Pick out some free weights, a sturdy bench and a machine for cardio. That’s all it takes to build a gym at home. As you climb up the corporate ladder, time will become sparse and heading to your favourite gym may not always be possible. This will act as a substitute.
